Udala, a grassroots football development expert, was killed unnecessarily when his convoy collided with a group of armed gunmen at the Eke-Agu Market crossing in Abatete, Idemili North Local Area. When the militants intercepted the Udala convoy in Abatete, they had apparently attacked a local police station and were fleeing the scene. Godsent Eriobu, Udala FC Manager and Secretary of Anambra Independent League (AIFL) who was also in the convoy was equally shot and died instantly at the scene on Tuesday. Rev. Fr Obinna Dike, Chairman of AIFL who confirmed the death of Udala on Wednesday said the amateur league had lost two important members of the football family. This is the case for Facebook user Erica Tucker's granny, Martha Mae Ophelia Moon Tucker.  At 94-years-old she finally got one of the bridal moments she'd always dreamed of, trying on dresses. Tucker shared the beautiful experience on Facebook, and there wasn't a dry eye in the house.  Her granddaughter, Angela Strozier told reporters that the family was watching "Coming To America" when her grandmother whispered, “I’ve always wanted to try on a wedding dress.  Tucker was born in Alexander City in 1927 and moved to Birmingham at 15, graduating from Parker High School in 1948. In 1952, she married the love of her life, Lehman Tucker Sr., but due to segregation Black women were not allowed in bridal shops. The youths, acting under the aegis of Concerned APC Youth Stakeholders, expressed their support for the suspension of the governor from the party at a news conference on Tuesday in Ilorin. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that the APC caretaker committee in the state through its Legal Adviser, Mr Oladimeji Mustapha, had accused the governor of anti-party activities and called for his suspension.
